Dear Arnie,

I want to personally thank you for your support and assistance both before and during the Armenian-Americans for Kerry event last Sunday. The evening was a great success and we were able to raise close to $25,000 in support of John Kerry. Your speech was sincere and focused, and clearly demonstrated the time and effort you spent learning about the Armenians.

In addition to proactively engaging in the effort to make a change in the White House, I have been allowed the opportunity through this effort to meet some of the brightest and most genuine people here in San Francisco. Making your acquaintance clearly added value to the event but it also touched me personally; befriending you makes me feel that much more a part of the San Francisco community. After almost two years of feeling like a foreigner, it is nice to know that I am respected as an active participant in the goings-on in our city.

Thank you again for everything. Enjoy the rest of summer and let's hope our future looks a little brighter come November 2nd.
