Dear Arnold:

The campaign is over and while I know we share some disappointment with regard to those team members we couldn*t bring in, I think we have to realize that in a sense we bucked a tide and won a victory. None of it could have been possible without your help.

The pace of the campaign was such that there was little opportunity to pause to tell you of my gratefulness. I hope you will never cause to regret your efforts in my behalf.

Again, you have my heartfelt thanks.
